Top Flight Jump School

Our Jump School has produced National, State, conference champions, and All-Americans in the high, long, and triple jumps.

Long Jump:

The long jump has four phases: the approach, take-off, in-flight, and landing (Linthorne, 2008). A successful long jumper must be a fast sprinter, have strong legs for jumping, and be sufficiently coordinated to perform the moderately complex take-off, flight, and

landing maneuvers.

Our long jump program is based on sport science specific to the long jump, data that comes from metrics that translate into competition, and over 30 years of experience.

Triple Jump:

The triple jump has four phases: the approach, hop, step, and jump (Eissa, 2014). The jump distance depends on the jumper’s capacity to apply the basic architectural paths in each of the

three phases.

Our triple jump programming emphasizes:

Sport science best practices specific to the triple jump

Data driven training specific to the triple jump

Optimized speed development

Triple jump specific plyometrics
